I am a professional, qualified and experienced teacher specialising in French language and computer tuition.
I taught in secondary schools in France for 10 years before recently moving to England. I live in Southampton with my English wife.

I have Qualified Teacher Status and am registered with the General Teaching Council. I have a current CRB police check for both England and France.

I now enjoy tutoring both French and also computers and IT on a one to one basis in students own homes.
I am friendly, patient and understand that each student needs to work at their own pace.
I write individually tailored programmes for each student to suit their goals.

The initial meeting is very important, giving an opportunity for the student to explain their needs and aims. I ensure that I fully understand what they already know, and ensure that the carefully tailored course of lessons will fulfil their needs and maximise potential. This first consultation is completely FREE.
Living in Southampton I travel to Winchester, Fareham, Eastleigh, Romsey, Botley, Bishops Waltham, Wickham, Fair Oak etc.

ONE TO ONE FRENCH LANGUAGE TUITION

I offer you the opportunity to follow my One to One tuition to improve yourself whatever your level :

• From beginners to advanced
• For all ages
• For syllabus requirement for 11 to 16 years old students
• For adults who want to travel for business or holidays

During our initial free conversation I establish your needs and level of experience.
I travel to your home so we can use your own equipment, but I can also use my own laptop.

I give you documents, exercises, and voice recordings.
Lessons are assisted by verbal explanation and visual demonstration.
As a French native I can give you examples of the French lifestyle.
I can help you to pronounce words and sentences correctly.

I am patient and will guide you as you carry out tasks for yourself.
I follow your pace using gradual steps as you feel gain in confidence.

Each lesson is reviewed from what has been achieved to plan for the next session.
Tutoring sessions are for a minimum of one hour and not more than two.
It is possible to tutor groups of friends, maximum two or three.
Prices for groups are given in the Tariff section but I will be happy to give you a price when we have discussed your requirements.

Because learning to effectively use computers is not easy on your own, training is more effective if it is tailored to the individual.
Yes, one-to-one tuition is definitely the most time efficient way of learning computers.
As a teacher in technology and computers in France, I know what are the best ways to quickly understand the most suitable actions in front of a computer.
I have experience of guiding adults for their IT needs for private, social and academic requirements. I also train staff for their professional and business purposes.
I give you the opportunity to quickly take control of your computer and master this wonderful tool.
